SUNDAY'S PRESS TALK

Posted on: Sun 02 May 2010

Bristol City interim manager Keith Millen is hoping the Robins can finish the season on a high at Blackpool on Sunday. Millen, who will stay on at Ashton Gate as assistant to new boss Steve Coppell at the end of the season, believes a win at Bloomfield Road will set them up well for the summer break. He said: "We've talked about this weekend's game at Blackpool and he (Coppell) is desperate for us to end the season on a high."

Blackpool players will share in a £5 million jackpot if they win promotion to the Premiership. Blackpool face Bristol City today knowing victory will guarantee them a place in the play-offs and a chance of the £90million jackpot that goes with promotion. Boss Holloway revealed: "Our wages budget is nowhere near what people say you need to get in the play-offs, but the players have got an opportunity to do that all of a sudden."
