SEASON TICKETS 2009/10

Posted on: Tue 10 Feb 2009

Bristol City announce today they are rewarding fans' loyalty by reducing season card prices for 2009/10 by FIVE PER CENT against last year's 'early bird' prices.

The club recognises that times are hard for football supporters in the current climate - and for that reason season card prices have been discounted to offer the fantastic 13,600-strong season card fanbase real value for money.

This great offer runs until February 27th 2009, and chairman Steve Lansdown told bcfc.co.uk: "We are always looking for ways to provide value for our loyal supporters, something which is even more important in these difficult economic times.

"By offering existing season card holders the opportunity to renew, and members the ability to buy a season card for the first time, not only at last year's early bird price but at a discount to this is superb value."

On top of the excellent five per cent reduction across the board, City will also be introducing an optional and free auto-pay facility for cup and play-off matches.

And the big news for under-7s is their season card is FREE, when purchased with an adult. A family ticket is also available for two adults and two under-16s, with the latter also gaining FREE entry.

City's chairman added: "It is also important to encourage families and our fans for the future. The new discounted family ticket and free admission for under-7s does just this.

"I hope our supporters will find these offers attractive and continue to give the team the great support they have in the past."

City boss Gary Johnson commented: "It's great the club has come up with this terrific incentive to keep supporters coming through the turnstiles.

"The support we have received this season means a lot to the club, the players and the manager, and if that can carry on or grow going into the next campaign then that's fantastic.

"Whatever division we are in next season, this club needs to keeping planning ahead and continue to grow its ambitions, and this sort of exciting offer compliments that perfectly."

The club is again offering a Premium Credit instalment plan to assist supporters in spreading the cost, although existing Barclaycard Football Card holders are able to pay off their purchase at 0% interest.

Other benefits include: free entry to reserve league games at Ashton Gate, free CATS membership, ten per cent discount at bcfcmegastore and priority on away and cup ticket applications.

Renewals are simple, with season card holders able to use their current smart card for next season.

These prices are open to all season card holders (renewals only) and existing club members (with the exception of under-16s) from Monday, February 2nd until Friday, February 27th.

Season cards can be bought online via bcfc.co.uk, by phoning 0871 222 6666 (option 1) or in person at Ashton Gate Stadium.

Non-members wishing to buy should first pay for a 2008/09 membership (£20 adults, £5 under-16s, £40 family - two adult, two under-16s).
