Group managing director Doug Harman says: "We would like to thank each and every supporter who has signed up so far and hope to see many more join them before the offer period closes at the end of August.
"We continue to strive to make watching football affordable for families and working adults whilst at the same time generating the funds needed to ensure the club is well-placed to challenge for Premier League football.
"After winning the Family Excellence Award in 2010, we are delighted to see that just under 1,000 fans will be watching City next season as part of a family season ticket and hope to see many more take up this offer before the start of the season."

FAQs
I am a student or under-21 but when booking online the price defaults to adult rate. What can I do?
For operational reasons student and under-21 rates are not currently available online and when purchasing via the internet these individuals will find this price defaulted to adult rate. To book your seat at student or under-21 rates it is up to you to provide either 1) in the case of students, original documented proof from the college/university you will be enrolled at in 2010/11 (no photocopies or NUS cards allowed) or 2) if under-21 only, proof of age, before your card is activated/issued for the new season. Payment can still be made at the current rate at the club ticket office but no cards will be issued or activated until this documentation is shown eg you can book your seat now, but should you have to wait for the appropriate documentation etc, that is when your card will become available.
I booked my card using my Barclaycard Football Card last season which allowed me to pay off my season card at 0% interest. Can I do so again this year?
Barclaycard Football Card is no longer available commercially. But we have been informed by Barclaycard that supporters who hold this card will again be eligible for 0% interest on all purchases of £250 and above - please note, however, that all season cards must be purchased individually so this offer will not apply to various concession rates of below £250. We advise that you check with your card issuer before making payment as Barclaycard are a third party and terms and conditions are subject to change. Alternatively you can pay off
Me and my mate regularly watch the game together and bring our children. Why can't we buy a family ticket and sit together?
The family ticket offer is specifically targeted at family members or close relatives and is intended to encourage families to come to Ashton Gate together and build the clubÕs support for the future. The offer is strictly limited on a first-come, first-served basis and ID may be requested by the ticket office to confirm eligibility. Decisions made by the ticket office are final and subject to their discretion.
I am a City Foundation member. Last season I was able to claim a £10 refund. Can I do so again this year?
From 2010/11 City Foundation subscribers who are season card holders will receive a £10 gift card (for use in the Megastore and ticket office) and an extra FIVE loyalty points. A £10 refund will not be available for 2010/11.
When will I get my smart card?
If you require a new smart card we will post this to you to arrive by early July in good time for the new season. All cards bought after this date will be issued upon purchase. NB If you have previously been a season card holder and you renew for next season you can use your smart card again for entry in 2010/11 - simple and easy as that, so keep it safe!
I was a season ticket holder last season. Will my existing seat be kept for me for next season?
No - if you did not renew by 31st May your seat would have been released for general sale.
Why do I get charged a £15 admin charge when joining the interest-free payment plan?
The £15 fee is charged by Bristol City Football Club to cover the cost of processing documentation to allow you to take out the interest-free facility. No interest is charged on the actual repayment itself.
In previous seasons season card holders have been able to claim a ten per discount off all items in the Megastore. Why can't they do the same this season?
We have invested in a top-quality new manager and squad and have ambitions to reach the Premier League, the club is progressing on a move to a new stadium, improving its training facilities and has attracted a major global sports brand Ð all of which further raise the standard of what is on offer to our fans on and off the pitch. Despite this major extra investment we continue to work hard at making following Bristol City affordable to our most loyal supporters and have held or reduced season ticket prices in most areas for the past two years. While we have also held the cost of the new replica shirt in the face of a rise in manufacturing cost, we are no longer in a position to offer a season ticket discount on all retail items. We will, however, be offering season card holders discounts on selected products/times throughout the campaign and a £5 gift card back when they spend £100 or more in one transaction. These offers will be available to season card holders only.
Do I get any benefits if I recommend a friend to be a season card holder?
Yes, you will receive a £25 gift card and an extra FIVE loyalty points on your record. The offer applies to 2010/11 season card holders only who introduce a full adult-paying season card holder who is buying a season card for the FIRST TIME. To qualify, the new purchaser should contact the ticket office direct and quote the client reference number of the 'friend' who recommended them.
If I have an existing season ticket can I move my seat to another stand or block?
Season ticket holders were given an option to move their seat until the start of June. This option is no longer available, including to supporters using the Zebra finance plan. If you have a particular problem with your seat and need to discus this further please contact Jayne Maggs at the ticket office on 0871 222 66 66 (option 1) in the first instance.
If you have a question that has not been answered here, please call the ticket office on 0871 222 66 66 (option 1) and they will be happy to help you.
