Fulham Academy product signed on loan from the Cottagers in January 2006 for the remainder of the season.
Made the deal permanent in the summer of that year, with an undisclosed fee agreed with Fulham.
Previously played under Gary Johnson at Yeovil Town, whilst on loan, and has also played for Scottish club Kilmarnock on a similar basis.
A key member of the 2006/07 promotion team and flourished once more at Championship level.
Became centre stage when his goal against Wolves in November left his manager Gary Johnson red-faced - having previously told his defender he would "bare my backside in Burton's window" if he found the net.
Can play in central defence or at left-back.
