QUARTET'S RETURN A BOOST

Posted on: Tue 20 Mar 2007

Steve Brooker, Phil Jevons, David Noble and Richard Keogh are expected to be drafted back into the fold at Doncaster Rovers on Saturday.

And that will represent a major boost for manager Gary Johnson, who admitted having a severely weakened bench at Crewe last weekend.

Brooker returned to light training yesterday after the bruising in his knee subsided a little, while Jevons' groin problem seems to have cleared up.

Ill housemates Noble and Keogh should be available, with the latter also having one eye on an appearance for Republic of Ireland Under-21s next week in Holland.

Meanwhile, Scott Murray has told Bristol City World he hopes to play in next Tuesday's reserve game with Swansea before eyeing a return to the first team fold.
