A supporter involved in an incident during the home game with Huddersfield Town last month has been arrested and banned for life by the club.

Ashton Gate managing director Doug Harman told bcfc.co.uk: "Our aim is to ensure Ashton Gate is a safe stadium with a friendly environment.

"Clearly the behaviour we saw that day was unacceptable. It is now in the hands of the Police for them to deal with, and we support them in whatever decision they reach."
