Lewin Nyatanga has targeted tomorrow's match with Reading as an opportunity to set the record straight and pay Reading back for the "shock" they caused City at Ashton Gate earlier in the season.
City were two-nil up with twenty minutes to play in September when the Royals staged the ultimate turnaround to poach all the three points with a 3-2 win.
Lewin, who played in that game, told Bristol City Player: "We were really disappointed when we played them earlier in the season, we had no one to blame but ourselves. We feel we should have won that game and we hope we can take that into Saturday and get those three points that we lost out on earlier in the season."
Recalling the heartache that night caused to everyone at Ashton Gate, Lewin added: "The feeling in the dressing room after the match was one of shock and disappointment.
"There was a feeling of embarrassment as well. To let a lead like that go in the last twenty minutes at this level is not acceptable"
"I'd like to think if we were in the same position now, we'd see the game out and win - I am confident we would. Hopefully we can get two-nil up against Reading tomorrow and keep a clean sheet."
