City fans are being asked to embrace Non League Day this weekend.
The first international break of the season means City are without a fixture - and subsequently supporters are without a match to watch.
However, two local clubs are asking City fans to go non-league for the day to cheer on local teams in the Blue Square Premier.
Bath City are offering discounted tickets to all City season card holders on Non League Day. For their match against Barrow, stand or terrace tickets are down to £10 adults, £7 concessions and £2 children. This offer is only valid on September 4th and is available at the ticket office on matchday.
Current Bath City midfielder and former Bristol City star Scott Murray will be on hand after the match to meet fans and sign autographs.
Forest Green Rovers host Southport at the New Lawn and City's vice presidents club are helping back the Non League Day appeal by sponsoring the game.
Brian Cook from City's vice presidents club says: "Historically Rovers has had excellent relations with our club at all levels, including directors, supporters and players.
"In recognition of the world of football below the Football League our gesture in sponsoring the game is a small contribution to all that clubs like Rovers bring to their respective communities.
"City fans have the chance to catch the match against Southport at reduced rates to celebrate a date which we feel should be an annual one in the football calendar."
