Louis Carey played 90 minutes in City's 1-1 reserve friendly draw with Cheltenham Town at the training ground this afternoon.
The City skipper made a successful return from a heel problem in the stalemate, where both goals came in the second half.
"I feel good and it's great to be back playing. I really needed that 90 minutes," said the skipper on bcfc.co.uk.
Christian Ribeiro also played 45 minutes as he looks to shake off the effects of a back problem.

Goalscorer Marlon Jackson slides in during the game |
City dominated the first half with Patrick Hoban heading against the post after just 45 seconds and then Peter Styvar curling cross rattled the bar.
The hosts looked to have taken the lead on 21 minutes when John Akinde headed in a cross from Tom Williams but the goal was chalked out for offside.
A quickly-taken free kick from Robin Shroot on 62 minutes put Cheltenham ahead, much to the dismay of the City defence who felt the referee let the Town player shoot too early.

But City were rescued 13 minutes from time when substitute Danny Ball's storming run set-up Marlon Jackson on the edge of the box. The striker sent a curling shot into the corner of the net for a share of the spoils.
Dean Gerken and Stephen Henderson both played a half each, whilst there was a chance to see City's new Irish signings Hoban and Jimmy Keohane for the first time.
City Reserves: Gerken (Henderson 46); Edwards, Ribeiro (Ball 46), Carey, Williams; T.Andrews (Medjedoub 59), Keohane, Hoban; Jackson, Akinde, Styvar.
