VOKES INJURY LATEST

Posted on: Tue 10 Aug 2010

Sam Vokes is heading back to Wolves for rehabilitation on his injured hamstring after being ruled out for two months.

Scans have confirmed the on-loan striker suffered a grade two tear to his hamstring after just 13 minutes of his debut against Millwall.

City physio Nick Dawes told bcfc.co.uk: "Sam will be out for between six and eight weeks so will go back to Wolves for treatment.

"Hopefully he will respond to treatment and he'll return for the second part of his loan spell."

Sam is on loan at Ashton Gate until January 5th.
