The future stars of English football take to the pitch at Ashton Gate Stadium tonight as England Under-21s take on Uzbekistan.
The match provides a chance for fans to see players who could yet feature for their country in the 2018 World Cup, should the nation's bid to host the tournament be successful.
Tickets are still available for tonight's game priced £10 adults and £5 concessions. They can be purchased online or by or by phone - 0871 222 66 66 (option 1) - until 5pm; alternatively they can be bought on the night at Ashton Gate Stadium.
City's home ground is fast becoming a favoured location for England internationals due to its passionate support and was the venue where Pearce made his debut as under-21 coach.
And he says: "I well remember the passion of the support we had at Ashton Gate that night. Living in the west country myself I fully appreciate the fervour for football that exists in the region and I know that everyone is firmly behind the bid and bringing World Cup football to Bristol."
The England 2018 World Cup bid is at a vital stage with FIFA inspection visits to England expected in the week commencing August 23rd, and it is hoped that tonight's match will act as a catalyst of support for the bid in which City - and its planned new stadium - are playing a key part.
The England Under-21 team will be wearing 'Back The Bid' T-shirts and will carry out the giant 'Back The Bid' flag launched at the England v Egypt friendly at Wembley in March.
The England 2018 hot air balloon will also fly over the stadium at kick-off to mark the occasion.
In addition, England 2018 board member and ex Chelsea and Aston Villa player, Paul Elliott will also be present at the ground as he talks to local businesses at a private dinner, about how hosting world cup football in the city can benefit businesses across the region.
