ENGLAND TRAIN AT ASHTON GATE

Posted on: Mon 09 Aug 2010

England under-21s trained on the Ashton Gate pitch today ahead of their international fixture against Uzbekistan at City's home ground tomorrow night (7.30pm).

Boss Stuart Pearce put his 18-man squad through their paces this morning and bcfc.co.uk was there to capture the action.

The session featured two players who took part in yesterday's FA Community Shield final at Wembley - Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge and Manchester United defender Chris Smalling.

Tickets for the game are still available priced £10 adults and £5 concessions online 24/7; by phoning 0871 222 66 66 (option 1) - lines are open until 8.30pm tonight - or in person at Ashton Gate Stadium.
