CITY TEAM UP WITH HOUSE OF FRASER

Posted on: Wed 04 Aug 2010

Bristol City Football Club has teamed up with House of Fraser to sell club merchandise at the company's flagship Cabot Circus store in Bristol.

From tomorrow (Thursday, August 5th) the premium department store will stock the club's adidas range including replica kit and trainingwear.

To celebrate the launch, four members of the first-team squad - Jamal Campbell-Ryce, Marvin Elliott, Dean Gerken and Gavin Williams - will be in the menswear department between 2.30-3.30pm meeting fans and signing merchandise.

Group managing director Doug Harman says: "We are very excited to be teaming up with one of the country's leading retailers at their flagship Cabot Circus store.

"As a club, we have been keen to have a presence in the city centre and this arrangement gives our supporters an extra opportunity to buy club merchandise in the run up to the new season and beyond."

The Bristol City shop will be located on the menswear department on the Upper Ground floor.

Steve Bluff, general manager, at House of Fraser said: "We're introducing a fantastic range of new brands to the store this autumn and it is great news that Bristol City Football Club is one of the first to open.

"We're extremely excited about having a local brand in our store and being able to offer our customers a mix of the best premium, high street and local names."

House of Fraser is a department store with 61 enviable locations across the UK and Ireland. As one of the best known names on the high street, House of Fraser has presented customers with an unrivalled nationwide department store for 160 years.

NB Supporters are advised that initially purchases can be made in person only and - for operational reasons - House of Fraser will not be able to honour tranactions involving the Bristol City gift card at present.
