City have agreed a deal to sign Queens Park Rangers defender Damion Stewart for an undisclosed fee.

The six-foot, three-inch centre-half arrives on a three-year contract.

Jamaican international Damion began his career in his own country with Harbour View before being snapped up by Bradford City in 2005 on a season-long loan.

His excellent performances for the Bantams prompted QPR to pay a six-figure fee for the defender a year later.

He played more than 150 times for QPR and earned their Player of the Year honour in 2008/09.

The deal is subject to Football League clearance. Damion has passed a medical.
