COLIN IN COUNCIL TALKS

Posted on: Thu 29 Jul 2010
City chief executive Colin Sexstone has released the following statement via bcfc.co.uk.

He says: "I can confirm that we have opened dialogue with the Council with regards to last Wednesday's disappointing outcome from the Sainsbury's planning meeting.

"This dialogue is ongoing and we will update supporters when the time is right.

"In the meantime I would once again like to thank our fans for the unbelievable support we are receiving right now. Please continue to show that support passionately but peacefully and without personal vendettas.

"Everyone involved in the club needs to deal with this issue professionally and sensibly. In the meantime I would urge fans to sign the Supporters Trust Sainsbury's petition."
