YOUTH BEATEN BY PALACE

City Under-18s slipped to a 3-0 home defeat at the hands of Crystal Palace.

John Clayton's side were two behind at half-time in this FA Premier Academy League match.

And ten minutes after half-time Palace ended the game as a contest with a decisive third goal.

"We were let down by some very poor defending," said Academy boss John Clayton. "The goal after half-time killed the game."

City Under-18s: Bradley; Hennessy (T.Andrews 55), Douglas, Stripp, Muggeridge; Rubbins (Lindsay 60), Kington, Lennox, Sayce; Kapika, Livings (Reid 60).
