EVANDER SCORES ON COMEBACK

Posted on: Wed 17 Mar 2010

Evander Sno made a goal-scoring return from injury in City's 1-1 reserve draw with Forest Green Rovers this afternoon.

The midfielder - currently on loan from Ajax - scored midway through the first half on his comeback following a troublesome back injury.

The goal looked to have given the home side victory at the club's Failand training ground.

However, Forest Green netted with just a minute of normal time remaining to secure a point in the Totesport.com Combination fixture.

Brian Wilson also continued his rehabilitation from injury, completing 80 minutes of the game before being replaced.

City Reserves: Bradley; B.Wilson (Brunt 80), Stripp, Edwards, Muggeridge; Kington, Artus, Sno; Plummer, Lennox, Livings (Reid 70). Subs not used: Carey, Rubbins, Hennessy.
