Gavin Williams endured a mixed debut at loan club Yeovil Town - scoring and being sent off for the Glovers' 4-0 win over Hartlepool United.

Gavin scored the second goal of the rout, but was dismissed just after the hour for violent conduct - an alleged headbutt.

Elsewhere, Lee Trundle played 13 minutes as a substitute in Swansea's 0-0 draw with Sheffield Wednesday.

In League Two, Marlon Jackson was a second-half substitute for Aldershot in their 2-1 loss at Bradford City.

Finally, Christian Ribeiro has returned from his loan spell at Colchester United. The defender was due to extend for a further spell, but with an injury to fellow youngster James Wilson, he will now remain at Ashton Gate for the time being.
