Paul Hartley is recalled to City's starting line-up for the match at Crystal Palace (8pm).

The Scotland international comes into a three-man midfield with Lee Johnson and Cole Skuse.

Jamal Campbell-Ryce will join Chris Iwelumo and Nicky Maynard in attacking roles, and Danny Haynes drops out of the starting eleven. Jamie McAllister returns from a calf injury to take a place on the bench.

Palace name Nick Carle and Calvin Andrew in their starting line-up, both ex-City players.

The team will operate in a 4-3-3 formation.
