Stephen Henderson has been recalled from his loan spell at Aldershot.

City have used the 24-hour recall clause in his deal as Steve Collis has picked up a foot injury in training.

The Irish keeper made eight appearances for Aldershot during his loan stint, and now returns to challenge current number one Dean Gerken.

Gary Johnson told bcfc.co.uk: "We don't know the full extent of Steve's injury yet but his got a badly brusied foot at the very least.

"We can't take any chances so we've recalled Stephen from Aldershot. He's done very well there and we'd have no issues throwing him into the team.

"It's fair to say Aldershot were disappointed to hear the news but it's something we've had to do."
