City fan Paul Twiggs walked away from Saturday's game against Doncaster Rovers £462 richer after winning the club's half-time Goalden Takeaway draw.

Paul is the latest winner of the club's 50/50 matchday lottery which will continue at the Newcastle United home game on Saturday, March 20th.

The winning number - 21141 - was drawn out by club photographer Joe Meredith.

The rules are the same as in previous seasons - tickets are on sale for £1 around the ground from vendors wearing distinctive yellow sweatshirts with the winner taking home a cheque for an amazing fifty per cent of the proceeds.

Prizes MUST be claimed on the day to be valid.

Takeaway has handed out more than £8,500 in prize money so far this season, and raised more than £268,000 for the club since its inception in the 1990s.
