SAFE AND SOUND AT BRISTOL CITY

Posted on: Thu 04 Mar 2010

Bristol City Football Club are joining forces with one of the West's leading security firms to establish a fully-fledged regional staff training centre at Ashton Gate.

The new partnership with Safe & Sound Training will see the stadium host a wide range of courses, from health and safety certificates to security qualifications.

Among the first courses to be offered will be a City & Guild Level 3 in Close Protection, which will enable those qualified to shadow high-profile employers across the globe.

Full details can be found at safeandsoundtraining.com. Further courses will be announced over the next few months.

Group managing director Doug Harman says: "We are delighted to announce details of our joint training initiative, developed in conjunction with Safe and Sound, our stewarding and security partners.

"In addition to the Close Protection course, a wide range of training and awareness courses are planned and will be held here at Ashton Gate over the coming months."

Safe & Sound boast more than 20 years experience in both the temporary and permanent recruitment sectors.

They currently provide stewarding and security staff to the stadium on matchdays and non-matchdays.
