CITY DUO BACK FROM LOAN

Posted on: Mon 01 Mar 2010

City youngsters Frankie Artus and John Akinde have returned from loan spells at Chesterfield and Brentford respectively.

Midfielder Frankie made three appearances for the Spireites - his fifth loan club in his career to date - but has not played since being sent off at Morecambe on January 30th. Since then the League Two club have gone an unbeaten run.

John (pictured right), a striker signed from Ebbsfleet United in August 2008, featured in two matches for the Bess in League One without scoring.

Both are now back in training with the first team at Ashton Gate and are expected to play in tomorrow's reserve game against Swansea City.
