Dean Gerken says his performance against Ipswich Town on Saturday was one of his best yet in a City shirt.
The summer signing from the Tractor Boys' local rivals Colchester produced a man-of-the-match display to deny the home side victory with a string of fine saves.
And he was singled out by his boss Gary Johnson after the game as City's 'hero' in another battling away performance by the team.
Speaking to Bristol City Player after keeping his seventh clean sheet of the season, Dean said: "It's not a bad place to come and get a clean sheet so I'm over the moon.
"They put us under a lot of pressure in the second half and that could prove to be a big point come the end of the season.
"The post came to my rescue but these things even themselves out and it was good to get the rub of the green this time."
Asked if it was his best display yet in a City shirt, he replied: "Maybe. I think I also played pretty well at Ashton Gate against Ipswich (when it also finished 0-0).
"Maybe they are my lucky team now, which is strange because I didn't do so well against them for Colchester*"
It could have all been so different, however, had City's keeper got a touch with an attempted pnch on a long injury-time throw from Connor Wickham.
The throw ended up bouncing into the net but was disallowed because it had not touched a player on its way in.
Dean quipped: "Louis said to 'leave it' so I did. We'd been working on it all week in training!"
* Dean played against the Us' local rivals three times whilst with Colchester, keeping one clean sheet put conceding five in two other games.
