CITY LOAN WATCH - 27/02/10

Posted on: Sun 28 Feb 2010

Stephen Henderson and Marlon Jackson were both involved as their loan club Aldershot pulled off a stunning 1-0 away win over Frankie Artus' Chesterfield.

Irish keeper Stephen kept a vital clean sheet, while Marlon was a 62nd minute replacement - arriving on the pitch just two minutes before the only goal scored by Danny Hylton. Unfortunately Frankie was an unused substitute.

Lee Trundle did make an appearance off the bench for Swansea in their 1-0 success over Peterborough United at the Liberty Stadium. The on-loan forward replace Ferrie Bodde after just 32 minutes due to an injury.

Christian Ribeiro didn't make the Colchester squad for the trip to Bristol Rovers but is now fully fit for the next two months of his loan spell with the Essex club.

And John Akinde was left without a match when Brentford's home game with Tranmere Rovers was postponed.
