Posted on: Sat 27 Feb 2010

Paul Hartley is restored to City's starting line-up for the clash with Ipswich Town at Portman Road.

Marvin Elliott is ruled out with a knee injury and will see a specialist in a bid to cure the problem which will sideline him for two weeks or more.

Ex-Ipswich forward Danny Haynes starts in the same three-pronged attack - including Chris Iwelumo and David Clarkson - that saw City down promotion favourites West Brom six days ago at Ashton Gate.

Jamal Campbell-Ryce returns to the City squad on the bench, and Gavin Williams is also a replacement against his former club. Patrick Agyemang is ruled out with a thigh strain.

Bristol City: Gerken; Orr, Carey, Nyatanga, Fontaine; Johnson, Hartley, Skuse; Haynes, Iwelumo, Clarkson. Subs: Williams, Maynard, Sproule, Campbell-Ryce, J.Wilson, Edwards, Collis.
