City's players - and young flagbearers - will be wearing England bid T-shirts during the warm-up before tomorrow's home game versus West Bromwich Albion.
It is to celebrate Bristol's involvement in the nation's campaign to host the 2018 World Cup in which the club are playing a key role.
The city was named as one of 12 Candidate Host Cities in December and centrepiece of Bristol's successful bid is the club's planned new stadium in Ashton Vale, which recently won planning permission from Bristol City Council.
The state-of-the-art new venue - which would increase its capacity to 44,000 to host tournament games - could host four or five games, potentially a quarter-final.
Group chief executive Colin Sexstone told bcfc.co.uk: "Being a part of England's national bid offers the city a fantastic opportunity to be seen as one that can rival the country's most famous sporting destinations.
"I would encourage all supporters, if they have not already done so, to fully get behind England's bid for World Cup status."
