Cole Skuse has received the all-clear after an X-ray on his injured arm.
City's medical staff feared the midfielder has suffered a fractured forearm during a collision in last night's 1-1 draw with Leicester City.
Bristolian Cole went to the BRI for an X-ray and the results have brought positive news.
Club physio Nick Dawes told bcfc.co.uk: "Cole's got the all-clear following his X-ray which is great news. He's still quite sore but hopefully he'll be available for selection for Sunday's game (against West Brom)."
Manager Gary Johnson said: "It's great news because we couldn't afford another long-term injury. We've already got Jamal Campbell-Ryce, Evander Sno and Jamie McAllister on the sidelines so everyone's pleased that Cole hasn't suffer a break."
