Steve Lansdown has urged City supporters to give their all in support of the team tonight - despite recent frustrations with performances.
City host Leicester City in another crucial Championship fixture at Ashton Gate, and the chairman's message is clear: "Drown out the negative few and get behind the team."
Writing in his Well Red programme notes, Steve says: "Our recent results have left a lot to be desired and all of us in particular the manager and the players know that we have got to put things right.
"The point is this is sometimes very difficult when your supporters are sniping at your back every couple of minutes trying to make a point.
"It always amazes me how people come out of the woodwork when things are not going well to try and score points.
"I believe the vast majority of Bristol City supporters are 100 per cent behind this club the players, the manager, the board and myself.
"It is now the time for the silent majority to become very noisy, drown out the negative few and get behind the team."

He adds: "Now is the time to stop talking and dreaming of the bright lights of the Premier League and to fight for our lives, our self respect and get the fun back into our football.
"I understand the frustrations when things do not go right, but I am confident and determined that this club will turn things around, end the season on a high note and continue to progress.
"The manager is similarly determined and so are the players. The fans must be the same so stop bickering, be positive and show your true colours."
