Gary Johnson says the twelfth man - City's supporters - could be his most influential signing tonight.
The City boss has been readying his charges for a home clash with Leicester City in the Coca-Cola Championship tonight, looking to restore confidence within the camp following a run of two wins in 17 games.
Speaking in the lead-up to the game on Bristol City Player, Gary said: "We have two good games this week against sides in the top six and we've got to be ready.
"We also need to remind ourselves that at home our record isn't bad. Given that we've won six and drawn six, losing just two; some of the draws could very easily have been victories.
"I know people are saying we haven't got our game together and I think that's true. We'll keep trying to play a running, passing and moving game.
"To bring that game out you need the confidence, especially at home, and it's a confidence at this stage only supporters can give you.
"Whatever their views, their football club and players need them in the next two games. It will be them, whoever is here, who will help us get a result.
"Our number 12 shirt - the supporters - could be our best signing tonight."

"Generally the supporters get behind us (at Ashton Gate) and I think it needs something extra tonight to push the lads on.
"There is a thought that says the players need to get the fans going and it's great if they can do that, but it would be great if the fans inspired the players throughout the game.
"Our number 12 shirt - the supporters - could be our best signing tonight."
All of City's injured players - Jamie McAllister, Jamal Campbell-Ryce, Evander Sno and Nicky Maynard - remain doubts.
