FOUR CHANGES AT WATFORD

Posted on: Tue 09 Feb 2010

Lee Johnson, Cole Skuse, David Clarkson and Alvaro Saborio all earn recalls for City at Watford (7.45pm).

Nicky Maynard (dead leg) and Jamal Campbell-Ryce (calf) are both ruled out through injury, whilst Marvin Elliott, Paul Hartley and Evander Sno drop out of the starting line-up. Danny Haynes has not travelled due to illness.

Manager Gary Johnson told bcfc.co.uk: "We've freshened it up a bit and made four changes. We're going for it and instead of having the extra midfielder, we're going with two forwards and Clarky in behind them.

"With the pitch looking a bit threadbare, we may have to go a little longer with our play tonight. We apologise for that in advance, but circumstances dictate in this instance."

UPDATE: Evander Sno has injured himself in the warm up and has been stretchered off the pitch. Joe Edwards is promoted to the bench.

Watford: Laoch; Mariappa, DeMerit, Taylor, Doyley; Cowie, Lansbury, Eustace, Harley; Graham, Helguson. Subs: McGinn, Jenkins, Lee, Bennett, Henderson, Bryan, Hodson.

Bristol City: Gerken; Carey, Nyatanga, Fontaine; Orr, Johnson, Skuse, McAllister; Clarkson; Saborio, Aygemang. Subs: Hartley, Elliott, Collis, Williams, Sproule, J.Wilson, Edwards.

Referee: Mr D McDermid.
