LEE'S DERBY LOAN ENDS
Lee Johnson has returned to Ashton Gate following the conclusion of his loan spell at Derby County.
The midfielder played seven times for the Rams, who were looking to secure his services until the end of the season.
However, City would only let Derby extend the deal into a second month. With that they would have a 24-hour recall clause.
And City boss Gary Johnson explained to bcfc.co.uk: "Derby didn't want to take Lee for another month and run the risk of having him recalled.
"We have a number of games coming up in very quick succession and don't want to loan Lee out at Derby for the rest of the campaign when we might need him."
The midfielder has already rejoined the squad ahead of Saturday's home game with Coventry City.
