John Akinde has joined Brentford on an initial month's loan.

The young striker moves to the Bees until the end of February and goes into their squad for a home game against Gillingham this weekend - and a possible meeting with Tristan Plummer.

John, who joined City in August 2008 for £140,000, has already enjoyed two loan spells with Wycombe Wanderers in the last 12 months.
