Gary Johnson insists the assistant referee was correct to disallow Clinton Morrison's 'goal' in the first half of Saturday's 1-1 draw at Coventry.
Sky Blues boss Chris Coleman told the media afterwards that the striker's effort - when Coventry were already 1-0 up - was definitely onside, adding that should it have stood his side would have gone on to claim all three points.
However, City's manager has also studied the video evidence, and he told Player today: "When Leon Best heads it, (Clinton) Morrison is just offside.
"Had it gone straight in from Best's header, of course it's a goal, but once Deano (Gerken) has saved it Morrison becomes active.
"Maybe people think we're lucky at the minute but we're not if they watch the video correctly.
"I know the lads feel Best's first goal was offside but you can't see whether that's right or wrong on the video. We should have defended it better in any case."

BBC pundit Steve Claridge also sided with Coleman on the late night Football League highlights show.
And Gary commented: "It's disappointing when you sit up until 1am to watch the programme and you have to see Manish (Bhasin) and Steve Claridge talking about how Coventry were unlucky.
"I wish I'd gone to bed after Match of the Day now!"

"They said Coventry should have been 2-0 up and would have gone on to win it. That's a bit of a hypothetical comment.
"I thought: 'I wish I'd gone to bed after Match of the Day now!'
"At least the newspapers and national media were good to us and reported it well I feel.
"Coventry definitely had the better of the first half but we certainly had the second half."
