BIG BALL TO BACK BRISTOL
Ashton Gate will welcome an extra-special visitor tomorrow - the official Bristol 2018 World Cup bid football!
Standing at a massive four metres wide in diameter, the giant icon will be on display at the Ashton Road entrance before the game where fans can sign the ball to show their support for the campaign to make Bristol a Candidate Host City should England win the bid for the 2018 World Cup.
It will shortly be taken on the road around the city, but Saturday's game is the first time it will have been unveiled in public.
Bristol is competing against a host of other cities for the right to be included in England's bid - and the England 2018 Bid Team will make their final decision in December 2009, just over three months now.
Back Bristol's bid to become a 2018 World Cup Host City today by visiting bristol2018.net.
