Ivan Sproule starts for City in their Coca-Cola Championship clash with Crystal Palace at Ashton Gate (3pm).

The Northern Irishman will link up with David Clarkson and Nicky Maynard in attack.

Sproule replaces the suspended Danny Haynes. In defence, Jamie McCombe comes in for Louis Carey, who has a calf injury, and Cole Skuse keeps his place at the back with Liam Fontaine on the bench.

Nick Carle is on the substitutes bench for Palace.
