Martin Lejsal has not been offered a deal at the club.

The Czech goalkeeper played three times for City during his trial spell with the club, but after a stringent medical it has been decided Lejsal will return to his FC Brno.

Manager Gary Johnson told bcfc.co.uk: "His club (Brno) were pushing for a decision early as there had been interest from (Dutch club) Heerenveen.

"We put Martin through a stringent medical but decided at this time we couldn't offer him anything, it wouldn't be right for the club."

Dean Gerken will be joined in tomorrow's squad to face Wycombe by Academy keeper Tom Bradley.

Stephen Henderson is still sidelined with a fractured toe, whilst Brazilian Adriano Basso is on the transfer list at his own request.

He added: "We'll carry on searching [for a new keeper] and we have a couple of irons in the fire."
