Dorchester Town v Bristol City
Adam Baker reports from Jewson Stadium
John Akinde and Danny Haynes scored the goals as City beat Dorchester Town 2-1 at the Jewson Stadium.
Akinde was denied a goal early on when his close range finish was ruled out for offside. The striker had stabbed in after Jamie McCombe's downward header had only been parried out by keeper Mark Overdale.
At the other end trialist keeper Martin Lejsal denied Ryan Moss in a one-on-one situation.
A lifeless game was brought to life on 31 minutes when Tristan Plummer's direct run into the box and cross set-up Akinde for a cheeky backheel finish for 1-0.

The second goal arrived from the penalty spot after Gavin Williams had been sent tumbling by Overdale. Haynes sent the keeper the wrong way from 12 yards.
Phil Walsh sent a shot over the top before half-time, but duly pulled a goal back on the hour converting from close range.
But that was it for the scoring, despite Haynes breaking clear near the end. Running on to a Paul Hartley pass, the striker miscued his effort well wide.
