Weymouth 0-4 Bristol City
Adam Baker reports from Wessex Stadium
Nicky Maynard bagged a pre-season brace as City ran out comfortable 4-0 winners at Weymouth.
David Clarkson and Bradley Orr scored the other goals in a one-sided match at the Wessex Stadium, played out in front of an appreciative 484 supporters.
Maynard could have had two goals inside the first five minutes, but City soon led as Orr's cross was tipped on to the bar by keeper Ryan Harrison before being bundled in by Clarkson.

Maynard spurned two more chances and Ivan Sproule had a one-on-one chance denied before goal two arrived.
On the half-hour Lee Johnson's pass was clipped first time into the box by Louis Carey and Maynard pounced for 2-0.
Sproule saw two more efforts go close, and then in first-half injury time Maynard was pulled down in the penalty area. The striker dusted himself down to take the resultant spot-kick, which he netted at the second attempt after Harrison had parried out his initial effort.

The tempo dropped in the second half, although Maynard could still have had not one but two hat-tricks, given the opportunities that came his way.
Orr wrapped up the scoring two minutes from time, converting Sproule's inch-perfect cross.
But there was still time for Maynard to rattle the bar from a couple of yards following Sproule's cutback.
