City fans are being urged to back Bristol's World Cup bid at tomorrow night's friendly against four-time European Cup winners Ajax.
The game - which kicks off at 7.45pm at Ashton Gate - will see Bristol launch its bid to become a World Cup Host City should England win the right to host the tournament in 2018.
More than 10,000 flags will be handed out to fans to wave as the two teams run out, and the City squad will wear BackBristol T-shirts during the warm-up.
A banner will be paraded before the game and the official match programme Well Red, on sale priced £2, features six pages on the bid.
As an added incentive under-16s can watch the game free - if accompanied by an adult - and there is reduced admission on offer for season card holders and club members. Click here for more details.
Tickets are on general sale now online, by ringing 0871 222 66 66 (option 1) and in person at Ashton Gate.
Chairman Steve Lansdown writes in his programme notes: "[The Ajax game] offers Bristol City fans their first real chance to show their support for the bid and I'd urge everyone ... to get behind it with real gusto.
"If we were able to bring the World Cup here it would be fantastic for Bristol as a whole, but also for Bristol City Football Club by association."
Plans are now at an advanced stage for City's new regional stadium which will be ready - subject to planning - in 2012, and be capable of hosting FIFA World Cup finals matches.
