CITY MADE TO WAIT
Sky and BBC have announced their first 17 TV fixtures for the 2009/10 - and City are nowhere to be seen.
Gary Johnson's side are one of nine Coca-Cola Championship clubs currently without a TV date for the new season so far.
Unsurprisingly, Newcastle United - fresh from their Premier League relegation - have been picked four times already.
Sky will broadcast 80 Football League games in the forthcoming campaign, with a further ten to be shown live on BBC. The BBC live matches will also be broadcast online for UK users only.
BBC and Sky have also taken over the contract from Virgin Media for online highlights from 2009/10. Online highlights via Sky and BBC will be broadcast from 0.01am on Monday after a Saturday game, and will be limited to five minutes in length.
