A BIG THANK YOU - STEVE
Steve Lansdown has thanked the near 11,000 supporters who have purchased a season card for the forthcoming campaign.
The club has sold 10,884 season cards for the 2009/10 campaign, with the deadline for sales ending last night.
And City's chairman told bcfc.co.uk today: "We'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who has signed up for the new season.
"It's important our supporters stay with us by purchasing season cards and help the club's development.
"Obviously we're disappointed to lose around 2,700 season cards from last term for whatever reason. Clearly it's a tough economic climate at the moment, while some fans may have purchased seats with a view to promotion to the Premier League.
"Over the course of the season we hope they will show us their support again.
"But of course we are grateful to those who have purchased season cards, and we look forward to a good season together."

Season cards were on sale a lot earlier this time around, since February with five per cent reduced from the price; then in March prices were frozen. The final sales continued until last night's deadline.
Other facilities on offer were installment plans and - for the first time - a deposit system during May.
"We had to draw a line somewhere and we set the deadline for June 30th," added the chairman.
"Season cards have been on sale since February, we had three different offers, and June 30th felt like the right time to set the deadline with the players due back in training today.
"We're rewarding supporters who have paid for their admission in advance, and now non-season card holders will be able to take advantage of our membership scheme and pay on a match-by-match basis."
He added: "If anyone feels like they weren't able to purchase for whatever reason before the deadline then speak to us."
