City have completed the signing of ex-Portsmouth defender Andre Blackman.

The 18-year-old defender has penned a two-year contract at Ashton Gate, after his release by the Premier League club.

Andre began football life with Arsenal before switching to their north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur. Then at the age of 16 he joined Portsmouth's Academy, where he spent two seasons.

Now Gary Johnson has signed the promising left-back on a two-year deal.
