Dele Adebola says he was "surprised and delighted" to be named Supporters Club player-of-the-year.
The 33-year-old striker - who hit ten goals in his fiirst full season at Ashton Gate - received the honour at last night's awards night ceremony in the Evening Post Dolman Exhibition Hall.
And he said: "I'm delighted and so surprised at getting it actually because there's been some great performances from all the boys this season, including Fonts [Liam Fontaine], [Cole] Skuse and Nicky [Maynard] to name just a few.
"My personal highlight was probably the Wolves home game [when City fought back to draw 2-2 from 2-0 down in gale-force wind and rain].
"There was not a lot of football played and it took a momentous effort from all the players. We all dug deep and managed to pull the two goals back."
The forward - who has yet to agree a new contract - said he was still talking to the club about his immediate future and hoped things would be "sorted sooner rather than later".

Nicky Maynard - top goalscorer and young player-of-the-year |
Meanwhile, Nicky Maynard was "ecstatic" after picking up the Supporters Club young-player-of-the-year honour alongside his top goalscorer honour.
The club record £2.25 million signing from Crewe netted 11 times in his first season with the club.
He said: "I'm ecstatic. I didn't expect to win. Thanks to all the supporters who voted for me."
Looking ahead to 2009/10, Nicky quipped: "Last season I only started to score at Christmas time so hopefully I can start at the beginning next season and get a few more!
"But it's been a great first campaign for me, and I'm now hoping to go one better, score few a goals and get City into the Premiership."
