Marvin Elliott says he has a "big smile" on his face after recovering from a groin injury that kept him out of first-team action since January 27th.

The 24-year-old midfielder is close to full fitness after playing two reserve games during the past fortnight and in the frame for tomorrow's game against Preston North End.

And he tells Well Red: "This season I have really understood the value of being able to come in and train. It puts a big smile on my face.

"I think a lot of footballers are guilty of taking it for granted but just to come in, train and look forward to a game at the weekend is real blessing"
