Jamie McCombe's surgery has been a success, says physio Nick Dawes.

The defender underwent surgery on his trouble stomach/pelvis injury late last night, and early signs from specialists say Jamie should be back and raring to go within three weeks.

Club physiotherapist Nick told bcfc.co.uk: "Jamie went in for surgery late last night and I was there with him. Everything seemed to go fine.

"We spoke to the consultant again this morning and he says the surgery was a success.

"Jamie's rehabilitation begins tomorrow and, as the manager has already said, he should be back in action in around three weeks' time."
