GARY BACK UP TO NUMBER THREE
Gary Johnson is now the third longest serving manager in the Coca-Cola Championship again.
The City manager has moved up the LMA list of long-serving bosses, following Aidy Boothroyd's departure from Watford late last night.
Gary dropped to fourth longest serving in the Championship when Reading, under Steve Coppell, were relegated last term. He still remains behind Coppell and Cardiff chief Dave Jones in the Championship list of longest serving managers.
And in the overall list, combining all England's top four professional leagues, Gary is now 13th longest at the helm.
The top ten is as follows:-
Sir Alex Ferguson (Manchester United)
Graham Turner (Hereford United)
Arsene Wenger (Arsenal)
John Coleman (Accrington Stanley)
David Moyes (Everton)
Martin Ling (Leyton Orient)
Steve Coppell (Reading)
Steve Tilson (Southend United)
Paul Fairclough (Barnet)
John Still (Dagenham & Redbridge)
