City Under-18s slipped to a 1-0 home defeat at the hands of Birmingham City.

John Clayton again had to shuffle his pack after many of his Academy squad played for the reserves in midweek.

But despite the changes, City began the stronger with Nathan Livings seeing a goal chalked off for offside and Joe Lennox forcing a good save from the visiting keeper.

The Blues rallied in the second half and bagged all three points with a breakaway goal 15 minutes from time.
