City Reserves were held to a goalless draw in a timid Totesport.com Combination Cup fixture away at Swansea tonight.

Neither side really created enough chances to earn all three points in the group game.

City's best two chances came from Robert Stambolziev crosses; Mark Magee heading wide in the first half and Marlon Jackson nodding past the post midway through the second period.

Development coach Alan Walsh told bcfc.co.uk: "It was a workmanlike performance from the young lads, but there was very little in goal-mouth chances for both sides."

City Reserves: Henderson; Edwards, Williams, Wilkinson, Boon; McClennan (Livings 60), Hennessy, Kington (Lennox 80), Stambolsiev; Jackson, Magee. Subs: Bradley, Neagle, Rubbins.
