Gary Johnson admits the current situation is the most difficult he has faced since City returned to the Coca-Cola Championship.

Defeat in the club's tenth game of the 2008/09 season at Sheffield United on Saturday has left City in 13th position with 13 points - ten behind the leaders Birmingham City.

And Gary told bcfc.co.uk: "It's the most difficult time because it's the lowest we've been in the Championship, perhaps apart from after two games last season (when City were 14th).

"There are lots of good teams in the Championship and we have to believe that we are a good Championship club.

"At the moment we've got to get that belief back amongst the players, the staff, etc. Wins will get that belief back but at the moment we're all a bit disappointed so there's work to do."
